It has been a few weeks since I have written, and that is because I have been busy working away a NEW project. If you follow me on social media, you have probably already heard of The East Coast Girl.
I decided to launch a NEW blog, but don’t worry (I will still post on here) and it has been taken up a lot of time (and creativity) over the last month.
The idea for The East Coast Girl came to me when I realized there was a void that needed to be filled. Personally, I spend a significant amount of time scrolling through lifestyle blogs and websites. Reading about the latest trends, beauty products to buy and fitness classes to try. However, so often I find myself reading these articles and think “that boutique looks amazing, but it’s in Chicago”, or “that product looks neat… but it’s only available for purchase in the U.S.,” or “that concert looks incredible, but they are only coming to Toronto and Vancouver.”
And with that, the idea for The East Coast Girl was born. Creating a blog for East Coast Girls by East Coast Girls. However, I knew I couldn’t do this alone. From personal experience, writing a blog takes a significant amount of time and hard-work, so I figured it would be better to tackle this project with a team of fellow East Coast Girls. A group of ambitious, creative, outgoing young women who were all incredibly eager to kick start this new blog. To date, I have assembled a team of 15 young women, some of who are my best friends and others are girls I have never met to create content for the blog. I have at least one girl from every Atlantic Province, all with a wide variety of interests and different backgrounds.
